Enjoying Life and Keeping Busy

Just wanted to leave a quick "Hello" since I have not been blogging (or creating) as much lately.

However, I have been keeping busy with school and nurturing my two beautiful children.  I'm looking so forward to Summer and all that encompasses; creating, appreciating nature (BEACH) and just a slower pace in general.  I look forward to having more time to work on my blog, share and introduce you to some new projects that I hope to be working on.

Have an awesome week and keep smiling!

  • Sadly you will no longer be able to purchase my jewelry in the Escondido Center for the Arts Museum Store beginning on July 8 2011 as the store will be closing it's doors.

They can be sent via USPS First Class Mail or emailed to you or your recipient. Specify address/email address when ordering.

New Workspace Moving Outside

Today I am hoping to get my workspace set up in the garage.  I've given up my studio room so that my children can both have their own bedrooms.  All Summer I've been setting up a makeshift shop in the dining room; pulling tools and supplies out and then trying to get them put away and out of the children's reach when they are nearby.   Needless to say, I have not got much work done. This has really had a negative effect on my mindset and health as creating, my jewelry making has been therapeutic- a wonderful healing outlet for me.

So, as soon as my husband is ready to go out with me and tackle the beast that is our garage we will get started. I can't express how much I'm looking forward to my own little corner where I can drag out all my tools and supplies and not worry about leaving it all out and ready for my next moment of creating.

The event on Sunday was fun.  I really enjoyed the talented artists (musicians, performers included) and weather was perfect.  My friend Danielle attended with me to assist me with my booth (Thank you!).  Here are a few photos (non-professional- I shot them):
